Arosbaya Stone Gardens

Bad Stereotyping

Madura Island has long forgotten by travelers. They thought that it has no interesting place worthy of visit. It is just a dry and hot island with no tourism potential, says others. A long history of  Madurese bad stereotyping has just made it worst. Some people are thinking that all Madurese are savage people with no honor. Well, this is wrong. I have met many Madurese whom living on the Island, I found them very friendly and eager to help.

The Suramadu Bridge has made easy traveling to Madura Island these days. Since its opening in 2009, Suramadu opened the possibility of Island developing both the society and their economic condition. We can take either public transport or private vehicle for exploring the Island. If Sumenep is too far to explore, you can start exploring Bangkalan, the nearest regency to Surabaya City. One destination you should not miss, The Arosbaya Stone Gardens.

The Stone Garden 1

Arosbaya Stone Garden is the a proper name given to an old limestone hills mining located in Arosbaya District, Bangkalan Regency, Madura. Only two hours ride from Surabaya. Follow the direction to Arosbaya when you reach Bangkalan, once you see the first traffic light on the north road, make a right turn. Continue your drive until you find the famous Aermata Mausoleum, on the right corner near the Mausoleum you will find small road going right. Follow the road, it will lead you directly to the first Arosbaya Stone Garden or we use to call it Bukit Kapur 1 Arosbaya. Indeed, we can find another one just 500 meters back on different path.

Entering the Stone Garden Area is like coming to a different world. Everything looks yellow and light brown with green topping, it is how it looks when the sun light hit the area. It was initially a limestone hill, until the surrounding people start to dig an exploit the hills to take the white stone for the building material. As the result, they created magnificent shape from the remaining hills. Pillars and tunnels or even caves in some part of the Stone Garden can be found. As it was long abandoned, the nature started to reclaim the area. Plants grow on whatever places it can grow, adding the beauty of the Stone Garden. As if the nature created it.

Some point, remind us of the inner side of the Giza Pyramid in Egypt. As if we are exploring the Pyramid itself. When no other visitors around, for sure you'll feel the creep out of the place. Its silence, dark tunnels, and the vines makes you feel like you are in the movie "The Ruins", or maybe Indiana Jones all over again. Just make sure you're not exploring alone, you might get lost and never comeback. Well, I don't think so.

Going to the second Stone Garden is even more creepy. But, it is the feeling that will make you want to come again. The old abandoned limestone mine creates huge cave, like the big cathedral. It is so big that it has its own hall with around ten meters high or more ceiling. Decorated with huge pillars in some points.

Some part of this man-made cave is filled by water. It adds the creepy sensation while you are in the cave. One good thing is that the heavenly light coming from the ceiling hole right in the middle of the cathedral. As you go deeper in the cave, the surrounding will get darker. Some places are really dark, you can never find what is there without light on your hand. A more area filled with water are found. Though it looks shallow, I'm sure that you don't wanna go into the water.

I found a very nice spot deep in the cave. Where the light could come in, on a big rocks with green bushes on it. Underneath the rocks is a shallow water. I thought I found a piece of paradise here. This is the most beautiful scene I have ever encountered in the cave. Though the surrounding is creepier than the horror movies.

On the corner of this piece of paradise, we can find a path that connects to the other big hall. Some part is an open area with sun light. The rest is a huge circular cave, only this time everything is clear to see. The vines on the walls and some other plants that grow randomly, have constructed an artificial Eden. A breathtaking view that make me forget the creep earlier.

Arosbaya Stone Garden 1 and 2 or they call it Bukit Kapur 1 dan 2, are a must visit destinations when you explore Madura Island. Do not forget to stop by at the Bebek Sinjay for the delicious fried duck with Sambal dipping on your way home. It will make your visit even more memorable.

Oud Batavia, Java's First Dutch Colony

0
Central Colonial Government Building

Batavia and The Spice Islands

Oud Batavia or translated into English as Old Batavia, is the name given to the area which now known as Kota Tua Jakarta. It was the central administrative district under the Dutch Colonial Government of the East Indies for as long as 326 years. Started as a port city built on the ruin of formerly Jayakarta city which was under the Demak Sultanate. The Dutch East Indies Company or the VOC attacked and destroyed the city of Jayakarta in 1619 under the first Governoor Jan Pietherzoon Coen. He built a new town named Batavia one year later. It became the Dutch and European first settlement in Java.

Spices were the main reason for the coming of the European to the East Indies (former name for Indonesia archipelago). First came the Portuguese, then the Spanish, followed by the Dutch and British later. The earliest arrival of the Portuguese trading ship can be traced back in the 16th CE. Yet they were the first to travel the world to the west by the sea.

The competition were very ugly, they did not hesitate to use violence in order to dominate the spice Islands and the spice trading in the past. So the East Indies was divided into different European trading companies. The Spanish has set foot on the Philippines islands, the Portuguese were dominating the Moluccas Islands until they were shifted their central power to Malacca in the Malay Peninsula. Moluccas later on was a Dutch trading territory. And the British set power on the Malay Peninsula much later.

It was the Dutch whom earn a warm welcome by the local leaders as the hope for the alliance to get rid of the Portuguese. Hence, they established trading post in many locations in the East Indies. The dispute between the Dutch trading company (VOC) and the king of Banten in the early 17th CE resulted in the shifting of the Dutch trading post to the Jayakarta city on the north east of Banten territory. Coen secretly ordered his men to convert the trading post into a strong fortress. Against the Coen's decision, the leader of Jayakarta city attacked the fortress and Mr.Coen fled to Moluccas Islands.

Surprisingly, the small garrison in the fortress survived, and later on they named the fortress "Batavia"- an ancient name for the Dutch land. Few years later Coen came to Batavia and led 1000 men to attacked and destroyed the city of Jayakarta. On the ruin of Jayakarta city, he established the town of Batavia as the extent to the fortress. The first walled city in the East Indies. As VOC grew larger both in trading capacity and its political power in the archipelago, Batavia city played the role of central government.

Sunda Kelapa Port and Kota Tua Jakarta

Batavia territory was only 15 square hectares. What was the colonial capital of Dutch East Indies has now become the capital of newly born nation of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, the name changed to Jakarta. It is the largest city in Indonesia and the main economic power to current day. A modernized city dazzled with skyscrapers in every corner of the capital city.

What is left from the Oud Batavia is Kota Tua Jakarta, bear the status as national heritage. Here we can find many colonial building such as the Dutch East Indies administrative building, the Governoor's former residence and others. They mostly became museums and cafes. A humble place to hang out, yet at the same time we can learn the past. The building's architecture is a reminder to the existence of the European power in the past, though it is not pure in European architecture. It is more a mix between local and European with some other foreign architectural touch.

The square in front of the Government's Office served as ceremonials activities as well as the place to hang the criminals. It was then applied to many cities in Indonesia except for the hanging. It is now the place for both citizen and the tourists to hang out and chill, especially on the weekends.

There is, however, a much older venue that is now still being used as the initial function of its establishment. The Port of Sunda Kelapa, considered as one of the oldest port in Java, as well as the first modern port on the island. Sunda Kelapa was the name of both the port and the preceding town under the Padjajaran Kingdom in the 14th CE. Later on the town was attacked by infamous King Fatahillah of Demak Kingdom and changed the name into Jayakarta literally meaning City of Glory, until the attack of the VOC in 17th CE and changed the name into Batavia. The port remained functioning and grew into the largest port at the colonial era.

Coming to Sunda Kelapa Port is like going back in time where both local and foreign traders anchored their ships and did their activities. Though it is now only serve for local ships to anchor, Sunda Kelapa is still a one place to remind us the past. Big ships made of wood are aligned in great alignment. Some loading activities are seen as tourism object, we can even ride a small boat through the big canal heading to the Java Sea. On the right the big wooden boats and on the left  are local fisherman's boat in many colors. At the end of the canal, the boatman allowed us to climb up to one of the big wooden boat to explore and take great pictures, I am sure that photographers will not miss the moment.

The Myth of 350 Years of Dutch Colonial Era

Do you remember our teachers use to tell us about the Dutch colonial era that had been going for 350 years? Yes, even in many school official books said so. Now let me tell you one thing for sure, it is a myth, and the myth is being told over and over again. How I could come to this conclusion? the answer is to read books, especially books written not for school children.

If we trace back the history of colonial era, it is true that the first European traders came to the archipelago around early 16th CE, and if we calculate the year until the end of colonization in 1945 it will be around 345 years. But you must remember, it was the Portuguese whom set foot on Moluccas spice Islands first, not the Dutch. Yet their first intention was to trade or to search for the spices, which was valuable as gold. The Dutch came later on part of Sumatra Island whom had the same purpose. There was never a colonization in the 16th CE.

The story goes as the European traders tried to gain power in every place they stepped foot. All of them tried to do a monopoly trading with the locals. There was no Indonesia at the time. There were, however, kingdoms and sultanates in the archipelago, each had war one to another. The archipelago had many ports for International trading before the European came. Traders from China, India and Indochina had been doing their trading activities in these ports.

The colonization itself started in the 17th CE where the Portuguese managed to get rid of Malaka Sultanate on the Malay Peninsula, Dutch set power in Batavia and Moluccas islands and the Spanish colonized the Philipines Islands long before those two. Yet there were still many independence kingdoms and sultanates in the archipelago. These are Aceh, Jambi and Palembang in Sumatra; Makassar and Gowa in Sulawesi;  Banten, Mataram and Blambangan in Java; Ternate and Tidore  in Mollucas; Sambas and Banjar in Kalimantan or Borneo and many others. Bali and Aceh remained independence until the year 1910.

It was the need for both parties - the Colonial Dutch and Indonesian Nationalist - in the late 19th and early 20th Century. The Colonial Dutch first spread the propaganda of Dutch Rule in the archipelago for 350 years in order to maintain their colonial power as if the locals didn't have a chance to gain their freedom. One Governoor use to say, the Dutch had been in the archipelago for 350 years and will remain here for the next 350 years. On the other hand, the Indonesian Nationalist used the Myth to awaken the awareness of the people for the need of Independence. The myth could make all people across the archipelago had the same feeling of being colonized and being ruled by foreign people. This could encourage them to fight back and established an independence nation.

Well, for me, the myth was made for both good and bad cause. Depends on what purpose and whom saying it. The problem occurs when it became imaginary fact to the next generation without a proper explanation. As if we were really colonized by the Dutch for over than three centuries. It is now the good time to change the myth into the real history in whatever materials being spoken, especially to the school books written to the Indonesian students.

Paradise Lost

0
Ilustration of Paradise Island

Lost in Paradise

I wanna get lost on an Island where no man have ever recorded. An Island where food is not scarce and different type of drinks exist. Milk, Soda, honey flows like a river underneath my very own feet. I drink whenever I want and I eat whatever I like. My friends are rabbits, cats, reindeer, horses and butterflies.

An enchanting waterfall fall into a crystal clear blue lake, a clam water that never get me drowning. Fishes are there coming to me  whenever I ask them to, and they don't mind being on my diet menu. Right in the middle of that blue lake, a Fountain of Youth emerges once in a month, on the full moon time. When the moon is right above my head, I take a handful of its magical water and drink it. I never thought that it wouldn't let me aged, and I'm not aging. My skin is as smooth as I was in 20's of age. My face remains beautiful, I become young forever now.

Once at a time, an Angel sent down to me. To ask how I feel, what of my thinking, and I'm I grateful of this Island of mine? And I say I am happy, I'm thinking of my one love, and I am grateful. And the Angel flies back to heaven carrying my answers, so it repeats over and over again.

On the east, so I thought, of the Island there is a range of hills made of gemstones. Red as Ruby, Blue as Sapphire, and Green as Emerald and many more colors, and I call it gem-hills. I love to watch the sunrise when the sun light come through the gem-hills. The colorful light bathes all over the Island, it gives energy to the living beings to do their activities, includes me. Indeed, these lights is our source of energy, even though I eat food, the main energy I gain comes from these lights.

There is a cold breeze coming from the north once at a time. It brings the refreshing life source and carries away the waste of the inhabitants. The coming of the wind is unpredictable, there is no pattern of it, unlike the Fountain of youth on the Blue Lake. I call it Wind of Life, and it is what the inhabitants wait the most. The life source is like a flying dust or particles in gold color. Once it touches the skin or any part of the body, it will regenerate the cells and heal the wound if there is any. It even heal the dying creatures, coz not all creatures here have the access to The Fountain of Youth.

On the beach, we shall see a bunch of small creature that glow in the dark, just like the one we can find in Australia, and they are all over the ocean that make the ocean shining bright at night. another beautiful scenery blessed to this place.

There's more than meet the eyes in Madura

0
Madura Island

Madura Maduratna

Madura, an Island on the north of eastern Java that connected to Surabaya City by the Suramadu Bridge. The Suramadu Bridge is considered as the longest bridge ever built in Indonesia, it's stretched for about 5.4 km long with two huge pillars at the center of the bridge crossing the Madura Strait. Madura is 5.168 km2 wide that stretched 180 km long from the west to the east and around 40 km width from the north to south.

If I am talking about Madura, it reminds me of a lot of thing. Mostly negative though, but this is only stereotype given to the Madurese people. They say that the Madurese people are bad people. Wherever we find Madurese, trouble will come. It is true that Madurese have commonly high tempered, that they like to cheat other people in many things, but this is not always the case. I went to Madura Island for several time. I only found good people. This make me think that maybe only those who live outside Madura are the one that make the bad stereotype.

Most of the land are dry land, it is a flat land with only few hills exist. During dry season, we rarely see green lush from the trees. Everything got dried, the land itself is not a fertile land. If tourists heard about the Island of Madura, they will surely not interested to visit the Island. They think that there is nothing good or interesting places to see in Madura. But they were wrong, There are actually more to see in Madura.

Kangean Islands
One thing that they did not know is that, Madura territory comprises not only one Island, it has more than 150 Islands which most of them are on the east side of Sumenep Regency. Say the Sapudi Island, Raas Island, and more to the east we can find Kangean Islands. Gili Labak is a newly well known island for the local travelers. It is a small Island two hours away from the Kalianget seaport in Sumenep. The Island has crystal clear water with white sand on the beach. It's a new paradise for the local travelers.

Gili Labak
On the mainland they have the Toroan Waterfall, a unique waterfall where the water falls directly to the Java Sea. It's a mixture between a waterfall landscape and coastal landscape. At here we can also take a nice picture of ourselves with the Java Sea as background. Toroan Waterfall is on the north coast of Sampang Regency.
Toroan Waterfall
Sumenep Regency has long historical story dated back to the 14th century AD during Singasari Kingdom to The Great Majapahit Empire. It was one of special territory within the kindoms where the leader of the region was called Adipati, or Governor at present time. The most famous one was Adipati Arya Wiraraja, one that helped Raden Wijaya to establish the Kingdom of Majapahit. Once the Majapahit Empire collapsed, it became an independence small kingdom/state lead by the descendant of the Adipati. Here we can find historical remains such the Masjid Agung Sumenep or the Grand Mosque of Sumenep and the tombs of the kings. Sumenep also have the famous beach named Slopeng Beach that grows Beach She-Oak all over the place.

Bukit Kapur 2
On the west side of the Mainland, Bangkalan Regency, we can find two limestone hills namely Bukit Kapur and Bukit Jeddih. The first one is the left over limestone mine which created a magnificent structure of limestone caves. The second one is the limestone mine on the go, though the people is still mining the limestone bricks, the others make it as tourist destination. It even have blue colored lake, which was dug by the miners to get the limestone bricks.

Bukit Kapur 1
Not to mention the Mandangin Island on the south of Sampang Regency. Though the Island is already crowded by the people who lives on the north side, it still have pristine Tosca beach on the south with an Island extension called Batu Candi, that make it perfect to hunt Sunset. I went here twice though, and more visits to come.

So, there it is, more or less, that I can tell you about the beauty of Madura Island. I promised myself to discover more about the Island on the next trip, and tell you more about it in future. I hope this will inspire you to do the same exploration I did before, even more.

"Bule" Indonesian term for Caucasian

0
Picture of Me and Alex, a British Bule

The Bule

This writing will discuss about you guys, the white people or Caucasian. If the Malaysian calls Caucasian people as "Orang Putih" which literally means the white man, we Indonesian call you in a very different way. Yes, we call you "Bule". It is a complicated way of referring to particular race regarding the original word meaning.

The way the Indonesian and Malaysian treat the Bules is also different. If the Malaysian in big cities are very familiar with Bule, Indonesian in Indonesia will see Bules as cool people. Coz there are very few Bule living in Indonesia, they are only concentrated in tourist destination like Bali.

First, let us discuss about where the term Bule comes from. Bule is actually from the word "Bole", it is a Javanese term that refer to the White Buffalo or the Albino Buffalo. This type of Buffalo can still be seen in the Surakarta Palace or Keraton Solo in Central Java. The people there consider them as the sacred animal that they must pay special respect with some old rituals performed by the Abdi Dalem or the workers of King in the Palace. Coz the Indonesian sees the Caucasian people having similar skin type, which actually not the case, with those "Kebo Bole" (albino buffalo).

Kebo Bole or Albino Buffalos
I'm not sure when was the first time the white people is called Bule. The weird thing is that, this term might having a shift in meaning from the term that refer to an albino animal to the positive term referring to the Caucasian people. It's not a mock, really. It's actually cool to see Bule to some of Indonesian.

Despite of the lack skills of most Indonesian in English, Indonesian, especially those who live in country side, will be excited to see Bule. Why? because it is like they are seeing those Hollywood actors in the movies. If a Bule visits tourist destination in Indonesia, for example Brorobudur in Central Java, which at the same time also having many local visitors. Some of local young visitors will, for sure, ask the Bule to take picture with her or him. It is like a proof for him or her to be able to take picture with the Bule. They will show the picture at home to their friends with pride. Their friend now believe that He or She could speak in English well, which is very cool to some Indonesian, in order to take picture with the Bule.

Some Bules enjoying Tea Plantation in Bandung
I did it too when I was in Middle School, where my English was not as fluent as it is right now. Though only a few words like "Hi Mister, can I take a picture with you?" or "Mister-mister, photo please!" took so  much effort to do so. The great thing is, the Bule will be pleased to do so.

I remember when I went to Jogjakarta with my Turkmen friend, we were at the Parangtritis Beach when some girls came to us and asked my friend to take picture with her. I smiled to myself, I, maybe would do the same thing if I never got to Malaysia for my study and practiced English daily with many of foreign friends. Saying that I'm not that excited anymore with Bule speaking English. Though I still enjoy making friends with them during my traveling.

Common Route for Bule

0
Bule a.k.a Caucasian Tourist

Bule's Route

Hi guys, don't you agree that Indonesia is blessed with such beautiful nature and culture?. Though some of it's politicians had been showing dumb moves in searching for power. Bu trust me, Indonesia is still attractive to the people of the world, especially those who want to see natural beauties in cheap cost. Yes, it is cheap traveling in Indonesia. For those with Dollars in pocket, current currency rate is around Rp 13k to Rp 14k per US Dollar.

You can buy a McDonalds or KFC Chicken in Indonesia just for 2 bucks. Yeah, it's cheap right. Cost of train ticket from Jakarta to Surabaya on the east is around Rp 300k or $21, and it's already a VIP or Executive class, but you know when I said Executive Class Train it means an Economic Class train in Europe as I heard from a Dutch man during my trip to Mt.Bromo. It's also the same when you go by economic class air tickets.

I've been traveling to some part of Indonesia, especially around Java and Bali. I went to Bandung recently, and to Lombok just few months before. During my trip, I met a lot of foreigner backpackers which mostly are the Bules (bule = Caucasian). Some of them even became my trip mates, we spent some time together, of course we talked a lot about many things.

One of the topics were mostly about the trip they've been doing. I have found that most of them having the same route of doing traveling in Indonesia. If we notice, they first will arrive in Jakarta and after spending some times in Jakarta, maybe one or two days, or even a week or two if they have friends from Jakarta.

National Monument (Monas), Jakarta
Then they will leave for Jogjakarta, here they will spend more time, coz the living cost in Jogjakarta is much cheaper than in Jakarta. They can enjoy a lot of things, from the natural beauties, the culture and even historic ruins of Javanese Hinduism ruins which scattered all over the place. The most visited ancient ruins are Brorobudur Temple in Magelang, the World largest Budhist Monument, and Prambanan Temple nearby Jogjakarta city.

Prambanan Temple, Jogjakarta
Enough enjoying Jogjakarta, they will depart for Mt.Bromo in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, either transit in Surabaya city or Malang city in East Java Province. Coz Mt.Bromo is accessible from both cities. If they want to see another big city with shopping center and malls and of course the variety of culinary specialty, they will go to Surabaya as the transit city, it's just that Surabaya is very hot and humid, you'll get sweat a lot.

Or, if they want to enjoy some chill place with variety of tourist attractions, even beautiful beaches and highland area, they will choose to stay for a while in Malang city. Then go to Mt. Bromo afterwards. There are few things to do in Mt.Bromo area, on top of the list is to see the golden sunrise at the Penanjakan View. After Penanjakan view they will hike the volcano rim if it is in a good status or not erupting, then to enjoy the surrounding area with serenity of surreal scenery.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Next destination is the Kawah Ijen at the Banyuwangi regency on the eastern most of Java Island, from Mt.Bromo they can get public transport or just rent the Hardtop to take them to Kawah Ijen. Kawah Ijen is the world largest active volcanic crater. Its blue color water attracts a lot of people from other countries. Especially the blue fire which we can only find in two places in the world, which here at the Kawah Ijen and the other one is at the Iceland.

Kawah Ijen, Banyuwangi East Java
Finally the last destination an the must visit destination for the Bules is Bali. It is already close from Kawah Ijen. They just need to go to Ketapang Ferry port and cross the Bali strait for about two hours and continue by bus to Denpasar for another four hours. I think that I don't need to talk about Bali, everyone already knows about Bali. It has already been a world class tourist destination for a long time.

So that's it, the common route for Bule Bckpackers when they do traveling in Indonesia. It can take around one or two weeks time for the traveling. If the travelers have more time and money, they will continue to Lombok and the islands on the east to Komodo Island at East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Pura Ulun Danu, Bedugul Bali

NB: Here is the common route,

Jakarta - Jogjakarta - Mt.Bromo - Kawah Ijen - Bali

"Intro to East Java"

0
"Welcome to East Java, Indonesia"
East Java, formerly, was the capital of 14th century South East Asia's largest empire, The Majapahit Kingdom. Its territory expanded from the Sumatra Island on the west to the west coast of Papua (current Indonesia territory). It also included the Malaya Peninsula (Malaysia), Island of Tumasik (Singapore), and the southern Thailand's territory.

East Java lies on the eastern part of Java Island, Indonesia. It is the place to find natural wonders such active volcanoes, beautiful white sand beaches, pristine tropical islands, wild jungles, enormous waterfalls and many more.

East Java has four major National Park on the central and eastern region namely Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Baluran National Park, Meru Betiri National Park and Alas Purwo National Park. Each with their own unique land characteristic and naturally preserved.

The local cultures of each region in East Java are mainly customs from the era of Majapahit Kingdom. Here we can see attractive performances such Reog Ponorogo, Jaranan, Bantengan and many more. The traditional dances are also another cultural attractions likeTari Remo from Surabaya and Tari Gandrung from Banyuwangi.

Humble and friendly are two main characters of East Java people, despite of their straight forward attitudes. Which make them as honest and respectful people. Once you make a step on this land of paradise, make sure to put an alarm for going back home, because you might forget about it.

Surabaya, a historic city.
www.skyscrapercity.com

Surabaya, known as the City of Heroes, is the capital city of East Java. A historic city where the Battle of Surabaya taken place. In November 1945, the allies troops (represented by British soldiers) attacked this harbor city for the attempt of helping the Dutch re-occupation on the new nation named Indonesia.

It was the beginning of the Independence War between Indonesia's newly and inexperienced soldiers and the Dutch colonial troops that happened within four years until 1949. With the independence spirit, arek-arek Suroboyo (youth of Surabaya) fought the Allies troops to maintain the city from being re-occupied by the British and Dutch military soldiers.

It was the largest attack of the Allies (the winner of World War II) after World War II. A Monument established in the center of the city to commemorate the event, and every 10th of November is known as the Day of Heroes to Indonesians. Though we have lost in the three weeks battle. It was proven that the Battle of Surabaya could encourage many of Indonesian in other regions to fight back the Dutch aggressions and maintain the Nation's Independence.

Surabaya, as the 2nd largest city in Indonesia, has many interesting places to visit. Suroboyo Carnival Night Market, Surabaya Town Square, The Monument of Heroes and world class heritage of European Colonial Buildings are few spot to enjoy the city, not to mention its unique local culture and delicious culinary experience, will make your stay even more than perfect.

"Tabuhan Island, an escape to paradise"

0
Tabuhan Island, an escape to paradise

Tabuhan Island, Banyuwangi, East java

Tak pelak, aktifitas favorit para pelancong hanya satu, jepret sana jepret sini.

Taman Ekspresi

Taman Ekspresi

"Travel Writer"

Being a Travel Writer is to tell about what I see, hear, touch, smell, and taste, on my journey to great places.
To see the nature and the culture is like to eat delicious food made by our mother. Everyone must have the same feeling about our mother's cooking, that it is the best.
Hear the sound of the wind could sometimes blow our minds. The cold breeze of the mountain, touches our very skin, shivering like we never hike a mountain before.
Smell of the ocean is indescribable, salty sticky air that blows right in front of our noses make us fly for seconds. And the taste of spicy food around the country, keep getting me addicted whenever my tongue tasted it.
Being a Traveler and a Writer is an experience of a lifetime.

"Menulis Sepotong Warisan"

0
Legacy

Writing a Legacy

Surabayaku Kota Wisata

0

Surabayaku Kota Wisata
